Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington Parishes)
- Coordinating local prescription drop-off programs for expired or unused prescription medications.
Metropolitan Human Services District
- Outpatient treatment provided by a qualified physician, or others whose scope of practice includes prescribing medication, as-needed, along with ongoing medical monitoring/evaluation to optimize safe, effective and appropriate care for adults and children.
New Orleans Council on Aging
- SeniorRx Program: Connects adults 21 years and older with free or discounted medication assistance; provide services and referrals to programs that can help individuals with their unmet needs.
Project Lazarus: coordinates with doctors, client navigators and advocates, & pharmacies to ensure continuity of care.
Rebuild Center - Lantern Light: Referrals given Tuesday & Friday from 10-10:30am (need prescription & homeless letter).
United Way of Southeast Louisiana
- Partnered with FamilyWize to distribute free prescription discount cards to everyone in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes.
